We've Been Approved !

Hoo Ray !!!

As of this morning at about noon, the 2005 class of the St Martin-Iberia Louisiana Master Gardener's course (that's US !) was approved to be the sponsors of the Entrance Way Gardens (twin islands) at the gates of Longfellow-Evangeline State Park in St. Martinville.

I suggest we get together and make a plan (besides, that's what they want from us anyway as the "next step" in our process).

We are also allowed to have two signs - about the size of a political yard sign - stating "Created & maintained by St Martin-Iberia Master Gardener's - Class of 2005" -

Could you help us with that, Dr Chris - as it would be promoting your program ? See what your bosses at LSU say to our request that they have those two signs made for this project.

Now classmates. we have to turn in a plant list and desih=gn plan as the next step. I SAY we meet at Prejean's Restaurant next Monday (Jan 23rd) at 6pm (would 5 work better ?) for a two-hour supper/meeting.

Afterwards, we could enjoy dancing to the best traditional French band in the world - Les Freres Michot.

I REALLY need your feedback, class - as I will have to call Mr Renaldo Barnes back and tell him "NO" if not enough people are willing to do it.
