On Wednesday - 250 antique roses arrived at All SEASONS Nursery for your pleasure.

Below is a partial list of what we received (NOTE - because I am in the process of educating my bosses, I was only allowed to order FIVE of each of these. So if you see one you love, COME GET IT NOW.

I was able to hold the price down to only $19.99 per rose (you're welcome). COMING : I am working on getting an additional 10 percent off on all roses, only for those on my Rose Lovers email list. Make sure your friends get on the list. Write to me their email addresses asap.

Don't forget NEXT FREE ROSE SEMINAR is the SUNDAY after Easter (April 23rd) from 3pm to 4pm, at ALL SEASONS NURSERY, 2974 Johnston. Call 264-1418 for more info.

ALL SEASONS NURSERY

P.S. Only FIVE of each of the following roses were in stock as of 6pm (closing time) Wednesday, April 12, 2006. YOU are the ONLY group that has been notified of their existence here.

But word will soon spread among friends once folks start dropping by and notice the new emphasis we at ALL SEASONS are now placing on these fine Old World, Antique roses.

Because of the nature of this first order, we will sell them on a first-come, first-served basis. For the future, I am working on a system where you will be able to call in and "reserve" any rose, taking it off the sales floor.

But for this shipment, you must come down and actually buy it - or send someone to do it - and that someone can't be me. This is the only way my bosses say they can see the demand is there to order even MORE Antiques in the very near future.

To give you just ONE example of how quickly they will go - ALL FIVE the "Paul Neyrons" are ALREADY gone because our employees were actually listening to me during my two seminars and snapped them ALL up (despite my protestations) upon their arrival yesterday.

We will order more. Do you want one? Let me know. Will can have them in by the end of the month or sooner if we have five folks who want a Paul Neyron.

Here's what we DO still have (click on most names for a full description):

We frequently hear this comment, and we've got the answer!
Growing antique roses can be easy and I will show you that with proper selection, you will be overwhelmed with their success in your garden. We think these roses are the "best of the best" of our antique roses.

MY ROSE RECOMMENDATIONS .

In my 50+ years of dealing with roses, these roses have never failed me or my grandmother Lillian (may she be resting in Peace) or friends. Their performance is outstanding in me and my friends's gardens, providing color interest and fragrance all season long. Better yet, they require no special attention whatsoever. So, those of you who wish to experience assured success, I recommend the following "Tried and True" roses:
WE AT ALL SEASONS NURSERY NOW HAVE :

ALL FIVE of the highest-rated climbers: New Dawn, Cl. Pinkie, Buff Beauty, Lamarque, and Zephirine Drouhin .

FIVE of the six highest-rated hedge or specimen roses: Old Blush , Mutabilis* ("not here yet" but will be here next Wednesday - 10 of them), Mrs. B. R. Cant, Maggie, and Belinda's Dream,

THREE of the highest-rated container or low-border roses: Martha Gonzales, Cecile Brunner, and Marie Pavie,

PLUS these other fine Antique roses:

Species Roses - Species roses are generally defined as those roses found in nature. Most species roses tend to be very vigorous and are extremely disease resistant. They are a good choice for naturalizing and will often grow well without attention if planted properly and given minimal care during the first year or so of their establishment. Although many are climbers, with a minimum of pruning and training they can be grown as hefty shrubs.

Sure, you can go straight to this place and order straight from them. But that would make me a little sad - because then I will know that I have probably failed you in some major way,

because that would suggest that I have not provided to you the kind of personal, friendly, honest service that it would take to convince you that the couple of extra dollars you will spend by buying your roses directly from me at ALL SEASONS is worth it. Is it?

If not, then how can I improve my service to you so that you will WANT to deal with me instead of the manufacturer? Help me help you better !

Remember: Love your roses.

joeParis

p.s. Remember the FREE April 23rd Rose Seminar from 3-4pm at ALL SEASONS. It will be question-driven - with the topics covered depending upon what questions you ask ! You may email in your questions NOW to me if you wish. This will allow me to research better answers. Thanks to those of you who do this.
