A good phrase

Saturday, April 29, 2006, I met a young lady (all of 9 years old) named Alexis (Kay's daughter) who said this phrase to me, just after deciding to purchase a Queen Elizabeth Hybrid Tea rose from me over at ALL SEASONS Nursery in Lafayette, LA.

"When I get home, I am going to 'poodle up' this rose, so you'll be able to see Queen Elizabeth's crown!"

What a gal ! She will be making her living with words, i predict, and will bring much pleasure to those who will read her writing. Thank you, Alexis (great author's name, too ! ).

How many folks even realize how clever this phrase is ? Very few. But we roselovers are among them !!!
